Summer Term 2019
We have been working so hard in our PE lessons preparing for Sports Day. We had a fabulous morning where all of our hard work paid off, well done Penguins! Thank you to all of the grown ups for being such a supportive audience.
Longdown Activity Farm
We had great fun at Longdown Activity farm – we were very busy being farmers for the day! We held chicks, stroked rabbits and guinea-pigs, fed the calves, baby goats and the adult goats and collected eggs! What a busy day!
Maths Games Afternoon.
We had a lovely afternoon playing games with our friends and grown ups.

We have had a busy day with lots of storytelling. A huge thank you to the grown ups who visited us today to read stories.
We had a fantastic trip to Gosport!
We all enjoyed travelling on the train, the ferry and the coach. We spotted lots of other transport on our journey too!
What a busy day!
The school nurses came to visit us to talk about hand washing. We talked about when it is important to wash our hands and how to make sure they are really clean!
We had fun with our grandparents on Silver Surfers and Safer Internet Day!
Yo! Ho! Ho Me Hearties!
We had a brilliant day learning to be Pirates. We went on a treasure hunt around the school, we made telescopes, we played lot of different pirate games and we made fish.
Gosh! A Pirate’s life is tiring!
Yoga with Elsa!
During this half term, Year R are enjoying learning some yoga poses with Elsa from Club Morgan. Here we are, learning four new poses and some relaxation techniques.

Autumn Term 2018
We all enjoyed our Christmas dinner at school today!
Visiting the Museum
We visited the Petersfield Museum to learn about old and new toys. We enjoyed exploring the old toys to see how they work! We talked about the different materials the toys were made out of and tried to find the oldest toy out of a selection of toys – this was quite tricky!
We loved wearing bright colours to school today!
Our bears were all very well behaved today for Children in Need. Thank you very much for all of your kind donations.
We had a Birthday Party for Percy’s 5th Birthday. Our teddies enjoyed joining in the celebrations; Percy loved all of the Birthday cards, party games and blowing out the candles on the Birthday cake!
Today in P.E we used the apparatus and we had lots of fun exploring the different pieces of equipment. Have a look at what we can do.
We had a brilliant time being nature detectives on our Autumn Walk. We found all sorts of objects that reminded us of Autumn, we listened to the sound of the crunchy leaves under our feet and enjoyed splashing in the puddles!
We’re Going on a Shape Hunt!
This week we have been learning about 2D shapes. We went on a shape hunt around our playground to see which shapes we could find.
We have had a brilliant first week at school.
We have been reading the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We even tasted porridge!

We have had an amazing Animal Day, look at our fabulous costumes!

We fed the hungry goats!
We found the slides and hay bales!
We fed the kids!
We collected the eggs from the chickens, we needed to carefully carry them back to the farm shop without dropping them!
Then we had a well deserved picnic after all of that work!
We really enjoyed playing Maths Games this afternoon! Thank you to everyone that came into play with us!

We have worked so hard on making superhero costumes at home for our home learning challenge this half term. We had a brilliant time parading our costumes for all of our grown ups to see.
Free the Peas!
We have been reading the story Supertato. Today we discovered some peas trapped in jelly in our classroom. We needed to write instructions about how to free the peas, then we used our instructions to free the peas!
Trip to the Heath!
We enjoyed a trip to the Heath to see how it had changed since Autumn. We spotted lots of signs of springs, like new flowers and plants. We also saw that the coots had been laying eggs in their nests and even saw a terrapin! Thank you to all the grown ups that came along and made it possible!
We have been writing our very own Superhero Passports, then we used the Green Screen APP on the iPad to create photos to go with them!
We have been learning all about our new Willow dome and how to care for it. We have enjoyed watching the Willow dome being built from our classroom! We helped to make craft items from Willow, including some living pencils that we will watching grow and then will be using them in school!
Spring Term 2017
Today we wore our Easter bonnets to school. Don’t we look fabulous!

We looked fantastic in our sports kits and raised lots of money for Sport Relief, well done everybody!
Winton House Art Project
We visited Winton house to see our art on display. It looks beautiful, don’t forget to take your families to visit during the Easter holidays!
World Book Day!

Our Trip to Gosport
We had a brilliant time on our trip to Gosport.
We walked to the station and went on a train to Portsmouth.
We looked at the boats in the harbor and went on the ferry to Gosport.
Then we walked to the Church to have our lunch.
After that we walked back to the ferry to go back to Portsmouth.
Finally we got the coach back to school, what a busy day!
We had a fabulous Pirate Day. We have been busy making telescopes and fish, going on treasure hunts and playing Pirate games!
