Woodpeckers – Past Events
Summer Term
Art Day was jam-packed full of fun!
We made amazing under the water wax resist paintings, fabulous puffer fish and some crazy jelly fish and crabs.
Wow! What talented artists we have in Woodpeckers!
We had a super fun Science Day.
We made butter which was yum! We made paper ghost float using static electricity! We designed and made amazing thaumatropes and had fun seeing whose spinning blimp could go the fastest.
We enjoyed our morning at the farm.
Olympics Day!
We really enjoyed wearing our sports kits for our super sports day. We all took part in lots of fun games and won a gold medal. Well done Woodpeckers!
We dressed up in different colours for Elmer day.

Autumn term
We all enjoyed our Christmas lunch.
Today we went to the church to perform the Christingle.

World Book Day.
We all dressed up as our favourite book characters!
Mrs Powney taught us Zumba. We LOVED it!
In Art we have been learning about Claude Monet . We used our fingers to paint his garden in the style of the Impressionists.
Autumn Term 2019
We really enjoyed performing in the Christingle service.
We enjoyed our Christmas lunch.
In Science we have be learning how to do investigations.
We all wore our brightest clothes for Time to Shine – Be seen in the dark Day.
We brought our soft toys in to school for Children In Need. Thank you for your kind donations.
We had a Drama4All workshop called ‘All Around the World’
