I am thoroughly enjoying my time as headteacher at Petersfield Infant School. The children are wonderful to be around, making me laugh and smile everyday. They are without a doubt the best part of my job! When I am not at work, I love to read and spend time with my family and my lovely Cocker Spaniels, Dude and Freddie.

I have had the pleasure of working at Petersfield Infant School for 23 years. It is a fabulous environment for both the children and staff and I am very proud of all that we achieve. I fill my spare time with enjoying the great outdoors, travelling the world and enjoying music.

Year R Leader

I have been teaching for many years, most of which I have spent in reception. It’s always exciting following the children on their learning journey when they start school. In my spare time, I love walking, especially when the route finishes at a coffee shop! I also have a real passion for music, singing and performing. My family and I are all involved in the theatre and spend many happy hours watching amazing shows!

I am thoroughly enjoying teaching in Year 2. It’s been fun getting to know the children and I am looking forward to seeing their many achievements as the year progresses. When I am not in school, I like to spend time with my husband and two sons. I enjoy running and reading, sometimes combining the two with a good audio book! I also love visiting the theatre.

Year 1 Teacher

After working as a teacher in schools from Leeds to London, I settled in Petersfield in 1997 where I started my family. I love living and working in our community. Seeing the familiar faces of former pupils grow up around me fills me with pride and joy. In school I especially enjoy making art with the children. My best days out are with family and friends looking at art, going to the theatre and having fun.

I am so proud to be a class teacher at Petersfield Infant School. It really is a very special school to be part of. The children are friendly and a real pleasure to be around. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and like to get outdoors whenever I can. If I have any extra spare time, I enjoy reading and Yoga.

I really enjoy working at Petersfield Infant School and have loved getting to know the children and their families over the years that I have been here. When I’m not in school, I love spending time with my friends and going out for day trips and walks with my family. One of my favourite books is The Gruffalo and I enjoy reading this with the children I work with and my little girl.

I enjoy working at Petersfield Infant School. I love working with the children each day and being part of the school community. I have taught across all key stages and I am motivated by the unique challenges each day brings. I like spending time with my family and friends and keeping fit and active by running and swimming.

I love working at Petersfield Infant School. Every day feels like a new adventure, and working with such kind and enthusiastic children (and adults!) is a real privilege. When I am not at school you will find me somewhere outside in the countryside with my horse Buddy or two playful dogs Harvey and Belle.

I attended Petersfield Infant School as a child and am now very proud to be teaching here myself. I love supporting the children and seeing the ‘lightbulb moments’ when they learn something new. When I get the chance I like to spend time in the garden, go for walks in the countryside and read.

Louise Harris

My name is Louise Harris and I have worked in schools for about 18 years but I had a break to have my children. I’m now really enjoying being back in the classroom, especially at Petersfield Infant School, where all three of my children have been nurtured and taught. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dog Hattie, baking cakes and going to see musicals at the theatre.

My involvement with the school started with PISA 15 years ago when my son joined Petersfield Infant School. I became a member of the Lunchtime Team when my daughter joined 3 years later. After a number of roles at school, I am now responsible for all things ‘money’  at school – a role I thoroughly enjoy. When not here I will normally be walking my dogs Whisper and Merlin, running around after my children or dreaming of being back on a beach!!

Since joining the Infant school in 2022 I feel so grateful to be a part of such an amazing, funny and welcoming team, every day brings something new. It is a privilege to support learning at Petersfield Infant School as teaching our young children is extremely rewarding. I love inspiring children to develop their creativity and a lifelong love of learning – overcoming challenges and unlocking their potential and passions. I am always eager to sing, play instruments and attend concerts and musicals. I enjoy spending time relaxing in nature. I am passionate about travelling and exploring other cultures. My favourite place to be on holiday is on a beach anywhere in the world!

I really enjoy supporting children in their learning and adventures at Petersfield Infant School. There is a great team of dedicated and caring staff at the school and it is a privilege to work with them. Whether it is supporting children one to one,  in small groups or a whole  class, it is fantastic to see the children progress and grow.

This is my third year here at Petersfield Infant school and I thoroughly enjoy every minute. The pupils make my position fulfilling, there is never a dull moment and they always make me giggle. The children have a natural sense of playfulness which is infectious. It’s also very rewarding seeing the children grow and flourish to their full potential. In my spare time, I love being with my four children making memories. I also have a dog, at the weekends you will mostly find me on a walk in the countryside come rain or shine

I have worked in schools for many years as a learning support assistant. I really love being a part of children’s learning journeys and seeing them thrive. When I am not at school, I enjoy being with family. I love to sing and enjoy going to shows.

Sababa Sadullah

I am one of the HLTAs at the school. I work across the 3 year groups and immensely enjoy my role in supporting pupils in this early stage of their learning journey. The team here is brilliant and I am extremely proud to be a part of it and the children with their innocence, kindness and trust in us make it a very rewarding and meaningful role to play.

In my spare time I love to read, go out for walks and if my slow legs allow have a go at running. I have a special love for trees and birds too.

Every day is different at the Petersfield Infants and that’s what makes it so much fun! I love being part of a fantastic team who have every child’s best interest at heart. Whether I am helping in class, assisting small groups, or providing support to an individual on a 1:1 basis, it’s a privilege to see the children grow and develop. When I’m not in school, I love to spend my time outside; either at the beach, gardening or on a family walk with my dog. I also enjoy juggling.

I am so pleased to be working among the amazing staff at Petersfield Infant School in the beautiful community of Petersfield.  After 20 years of teaching ages 3-10 in both the UK and the US I have developed a passion for individualized teaching strategies.  I am excited about helping our pupils develop social and emotional skills in my new role as an emotional literacy support assistant.  In my free time I enjoy cycling, yoga, reading and spending time with my family.

I feel so lucky to have been working as a member of the support staff team at Petersfield Infant School for many years. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know such wonderful children in class and my time with speech and language and ELSA across the year groups. In my spare time I enjoy long country runs and walks with Ivy my dog, I love reading and singing.

I am enjoying my role as a teaching assistant here at the Petersfield Infant School.  It’s a great privilege to be a member of the school staff and the children are undoubtedly a huge part of this rewarding experience. It is always a joy to see them engaging with each other and discovering their individual qualities. When I am away from school, I love a walk in the  woodlands, especially during the autumn and spring seasons. Reading is another favourite pastime and I also appreciate many aspects of the performing arts.

I love working at Petersfield Infant School. It is so rewarding to be part of the children’s learning journey following them through from Year R to Year 2.

Outside the school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my 4 grown up children and 3 grandchildren. We enjoy going for long walks and theatre trips together.

I am Mrs Shirley and I have been working at Petersfield Infant School for 20 years. It has been a wonderful experience to see so many children come through our school. I am married with 2 children and also have a dog and a cat. I enjoy time with my family and the great outdoors.

I feel very privileged to be actively involved with the school, both as a governor and a member of staff as a higher-level teaching assistant working across the school.

I love being part of such a dedicated team, and it is extremely rewarding to be part of the children’s learning journey, helping them to develop and grow throughout their time at the school.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughters, and rabbits, going for walks in the countryside or at the beach, paddle boarding, reading, and going to the gym.

Bonjour!

My name is Mrs Lyons.  I am French and have been living in Petersfield for over twenty years.  I started working at the Petersfield Infants School as a Lunchtime Supervisor Assistant when my children were at the school.  I did this for several years before becoming a Teaching Assistant 3 years ago.  I love working with the children in the classroom on a daily basis, and feel proud to be part of a great team.In my free time, I enjoy going to live music events, socialising, travelling and walking in the beautiful Hampshire countryside.
